Green Grid introduces report with PUE recommendations.

The Green Grid, a worldwide consortium dedicated to the promotion of energy efficiency in data centers, has released a report with recommendations for the measuring and reporting of the Power Usage Effectiveness (PUE)-data in data center facilities.
 

The organization emphasizes the importance of having a consequent way of measuring and reporting in order to increase energy efficiency in data centers. The recommendations made in the report take into account the various power sources including electricity, gas and water.  By taking all the various power sources into account one can better calculate the true power usage.
